A pregnant woman was stripped and assaulted by a group of armed criminals on thursday night. The eight month old fetus died after the victim was brutally beaten and the woman is in a critical condition. The victim was attacked in the presence of her husband treated in a monsterous way by the group of men..She was stripped, then beaten and with a rope tied around her neck dragged out of the house and attacked her mercilessly with rods and sticks. Even the husband was thrashed black and blue. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile a case has been lodged and victim's former husband and father in law arrested in the case. And the police is looking out for the village head on suspicion of involvement.
