Ode village massacre: 18 convicts get life term - NewsX

18 of the 23 convicts in the Ode massacre of 2002 have been given life sentence. A court in Anand Gujarat announced the quantum of sentence a short while back. 5 others have been given 7 years in prison. They were held guilty in a judgment announced earlier this week. 23 other accused were acquitted in the same case. 23 people lost their lives when a mob attacked their shelter during the Gujarat riots in 2002.
