Battered baby Aafreen on life support system - NewsX

Less than a month after Baby Falak died of severe torture injuries another similar case has surfaced in Bangalore. 3-month old Aafreen is on life support in a govt hospital with severe head injury, bite marks all over her body inflicted upon her by her father who wanted a boy and not a girl child.
Baby Afreen is on life support at the Vani Vilas Govt Hospital in Bangalore. Doctors say severe injuries have resulted in brain hemorrhage and it is still not clear whether she will be able to ever return to normal... or even if she is out of danger. Doctors say the next 48 hours will be critical.
