Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh is under the scanner for another controversial land allotment. An unreleased CAG report has indicted Deshmukh for preferential allotment of a plot in Mumbai. The CAG's report is yet another stinging observation of how ministers in Maharashtra are bending regulations to benefit their pockets.
