Sex Scandal: India News: Jodhpur, Warden of Asaram Bapu's Chhindwara hostel and his aide Shilpi on Wednesday moved the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court for anticipatiry bail claiming she does not know the self-styled godman, who is in jail in connection with a minor's sexual assault case.
The Jodhpur Police said Shilpi used to send women to Asaram saying ghosts and evil spirits are haunting them and that only the godman can ward those off.
The warden was absconding since Aug 29.
A 15-year-old girl, who was staying at Asaram's hostel in Rajasthan's Jodhpur, has filed a First Information Report (FIR) at Kamla market police station in Delhi alleging she was sexually assaulted by the godman.
