Posco project hits a roadblock again, National Green Tribunal cancels the green clearance to Posco. They've also discarded the license given by Jairam Ramesh. Posco will have to apply for the Terms of Reference again. The grounds for cancellation are that, 1) The public hearings were not conducted in a proper manner, 2) The permission for the plant was only for 4 million tonnes and the plant capacity was 12 million tones, 3) Source for water for the plant was from a drinking water source for the tribals.
