Asaram Bapu sent to 14-day judicial custody, police say case very strong

A court in Rajasthan's Jodhpur city Monday sent spiritual leader Asaram Bapu, arrested for alleged sexual assault on a minor, to 14-day judicial custody, a police official said.
He was on Sunday questioned at a guest house of the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary, police sources said. "We have also been quizzing him this (Monday) morning. Asaram is cooperating in the investigation," the police said.
