India News : Uma Bharti backs innocent godman Asaram

India News : New Delhi: A day after a case of sexual assault was registered against self-proclaimed godman Asaram Bapu by a teenager in Delhi, BJP leader Uma Bharti came out in his support on Thursday.

Bharti tweeted on Thursday in support of Bapu saying that he is innocent and that he has been targeted for opposing Sonia Gandhi's family. "Asaram Bapu is innocent. He is being targeted for opposing Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. False cases are being filed against him in Congress states. We are with Asaram Bapu," Uma tweeted.
