India News : Manmohan Singh inaugurate Rs 60 crore national media centre

India News : New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday inaugurated a swanky national media centre spread over a 1.95 acre plot on Raisina road here and equipped with latest technologies of information dissemination.
The Centre has been planned on the lines of media centres in some of the prominent capitals of the world such as Washington and Tokyo, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry said on Friday.
It will have offices of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) as well as special facilities for media.
