DOW row: Ajay Maken writes letter to IOC-NewsX

The Indian government appears to have finally woken up to the nation's concerns over DOW Chemicals' involvement in the London Olympic Games as a sponsor. It's now been confirmed that Sports Minister Ajay Maken has shot off a letter to the International Olympic Committee. This is the first time that the Indian government has reacted openly on the issue. Prior to this, it's always been the Indian Olympic Association taking the initiative, albeit on orders from the Government. The IOC, on its part, has routinely snubbed the IOA on the matter.
