Kishtwar: Amidst tension, Muslim neighbours help Hindu man get married

Jammu: As tension and violence continues in Jammu and Kashmir, a glimmer of hope came in Kishtwar where a Hindu doctor was able to get married, thanks to the efforts of his Muslim neighbours.

The neighbours helped escort Dr Ashish Sharma's relatives to the Chowghan ground through sensitive areas. The wedding procession then moved to the Poochal area of Kishtwar.

This came even as curfew continues in eight districts across Jammu and Kashmir following clashes. The BJP has called for a bandh across Jammu on Monday.
