India News : J&K MoS Home Sajad Kichloo resigns

India News : The ruling National Conference's MLA from Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, who was in the eye of a storm from some Opposition parties over his 'role' in the last Friday's communal riots in his hometown, has finally tendered his resignation as Minister of State incharge Home and other portfolios after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah buckled under the mounting pressure from the BJP on Monday.

Mr Kichloo announced the decision of tendering his resignation as a Minister at a hurriedly arranged new conference at the NC's provincial headquarters of Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu. Party's Jammu president Devinder Singh Rana and some other leaders were also present.
