Sahara-BCCI meet postponed to Monday- NewsX

No breakthrough has been achieved yet in saving the Pune IPL franchise in talks held between Sahara and the BCCI. The two parties met in Mumbai to try and thrash out a solution to the uncertain future for the Pune team after Sahara pulled out of the IPL and the Indian team sponsorship. In a joint statement, the two announced that all outstanding issues were discussed and the subject will be debated further in the BCCI working committee meeting on Monday. The statement was curiously worded as it announced that the 'interest of Indian cricket' was debated including the IPL. Sahara has so far indicated it won't get back to sponsoring the Indian team.
