Not involved in pay-off: Praful to PM- NewsX

Heavy Industries Minister and former Aviation Minister Praful Patel is in the dock. A report emerging from Canada has dragged Praful Patel in a 250,000 dollar pay off to obtain a 100-million dollar deal for the supply of facial recognition-based security technology to Air India between 2006 and 2007. However no contract was eventually inked. Also implicated in the report are Nationalist Congress Party Minister Laxmanrao Dhoble and former Mumbai top cop, Hasan Gafoor. But Civil aviation minister Ajit Singh has ruled out any probe into the allegations.
