India News: Congress Rajya Sabha member from Haryana Birender Singh has backtracked his remark that seats in Rajya Sabha were available for Rs 100 crore.
Singh today clarified that he never made such a remark, but pointedly added that there were 300 MPs who are millionaires.
Singh made a sensational claim yesterday that berths in the Upper House are available for Rs 100 crore, triggering a controversy with the BJP today slamming the ruling party at the Centre for bringing politics to "such a low level".
