BCCI selection committee reluctant to take hard decision

The Kris Srikkanth-led selection committee has a number of glorious achievements to its name , the World Cup triumph and the Test number one status to name a few. But it seems that the selectors are scared of taking hard decisions when the situation demands it. The five wise men continue to pick teams on reputations, while cricket logic suggests that selection should be made on form. Some suggest that this is due to the pressure that the selectors find themselves under from broadcasters and the managers of players, who want big-name money-spinners out on the field.
