Cash, liquor used to woo voters in Punjab, UP

The free flow of cash and illicit liquor in the run-up to the assembly elections in 5 states continues in scant disregard to the Election commission's directives. Over the past week alone, crores of money in cash and gold, along with thousands of litres of spurious alcohol has been recovered from various parts of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab indicating intensified efforts by candidates to woo their voters.
