Mumbai Marathon begins

The Mumbai Marathon 2012 has been flagged off. 39000 Mumbaikars are participating in the ninth edition of the prestigious race. Over 2500 participants are running the Full Marathon while the Half Marathon has a whopping 13,946 participants. The Senior Citizens' Run will have 1251 participants, while the Wheelchair Event 370, with 20,500 people registering for the Dream Run. Celebrities like Indian tennis legend Vijay Amritraj, actor Rahul Bose, Reliance Groups Anil Ambani are running the event as well.
