Held in China for 2 years, 12 diamond traders back in India

12 diamond traders, held in China for smuggling in 2010, have arrived back in India. They landed in Mumbai last night, after spending nearly 2 years in Chinese jails. On 7th December, a Chinese court in Guangzhou province had ordered their deportation.The 22 traders from Gujarat were accused of sourcing diamonds illegally from Hong Kong, for sale in the Chinese market through their "henchmen".
