Yiwu row: China serious on Indian traders' issue

While the Indian Embassy has issued an advisory, it has done little else. It has told traders to stay clear of Yiwu City and is negotiating the release of the captive traders. The Chinese Government has claimed to have taken action against 5 of its nationals. The Chinese Foreign Spokesperson has said that criminal proceedings have been initiated against those who detained Indians wrongfully and even tortured them.
