Congress protests renaming Indira Bhavan in WB

The spat between the Congress and its ally the Trinamool is getting supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's initiative to rename the Indira Bhavan. The Congress had already hit the streets against the decision. Party MP Deepa Dasmunshi called it an attempt to wipe out the Congress party and its history from the state. A charge the Trinamool denies, calling the episode a non-issue. The Trinamool has opened another front against the Congress by deciding to contest the UP elections outside the alliance.
