The meeting between Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow seems to have cracked the case for India Nuclear power plans. Highly placed Russian government sources say India and Russia have resolved their differences over the terms and conditions for the Russian credit for Units 3 and 4 of the Kudankulam nuclear power project. PM's assurance to get Unit 1 of the nuclear power plant operational within two weeks has triggered a fresh wave of protests in Tamil Nadu's Kudankulam where protesters have been holding blockades and protest rallies against the power plant.
