India News: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and several other top leaders from his state today met Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi ahead of a crucial meeting of the party's Core Committee, which is scheduled to take place this evening to decide whether or not to grant statehood to Telangana.
The Andhra Pradesh CM reportedly briefed Sonia Gandhi about the pros and cons of dividing the state for creating a separate state of Telangana.
