India News: Allahabad High Court has taken a decision to ban the caste based rallies in Uttar Pradesh. In what may come as a rude shock to parties in the politically-volatile Uttar Pradesh, the Allahabad High Court today stayed caste-based rallies throughout the state.
Former Chief Minister Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is one of the prominent caste-based parties in the state, apart from other major and minor players.
