Sports Bill on track, says Maken

Sports Minister Ajay Maken has assured that the sports bill is on course. 'The Bill is likely to be presented before Cabinet this week itself', says Maken. The bill was earlier rejected by the cabinet committee. The bill was sent back and the sports ministry has now re-drafted the bill. However, some of the sticking points still remain but Maken is adamant that the bill will not compromise on its original intentions.
