India News : Four mini tempos and trucks seized at Mumbai Central station on Monday night have put the diamond and jewellery industry, especially in Surat, on the edge.
The consignment in the vehicles—102 canvas bags containing nearly Rs 200 crore in cash, jewellery and diamonds—being transported by 'angadiyas' or personal couriers to destinations in Gujarat, was intercepted by income-tax and National Investigation Agency officials on a fake currency tip-off.
