Haridwar stampede: Death toll rises to 16

The SDM has confirmed that 16 people have died and more than 46 people have been injured in the incident.Lakhs of people were present in the prayer meet in Har Ki Pauri.People from across the country are in Haridwar for the 5-day mela and the venue was expected to host around 50 lakh people in 5 days.
