Cabinet postpones ordinance on Food Security Bill

India News: Emerging from a Cabinet meeting in New Delhi on Thursday, finance minister P Chidambaram confirmed that the Cabinet has postponed passing an ordinance on the Food Security Bill.
Chidambaram further stated that Union ministers Kamal Nath and KV Thomas would be talking with the Opposition to seek their support for the bill and "make one more effort" to pass the bill in a special session of Parliament.
