Govt calls all-party meet to discuss Lokpal Bill

The government has convened an all-party meeting to find a way to solve the impasse with Team Anna over the Lokpal Bill. Leaders of all political parties are invited to attend the meet scheduled for 3.30pm. Sources say government feels that some of the demands put forth by Anna and his associates require a wider political consensus before a decision could be taken.
