SC to decide on OBC quotas in central universities

The Supreme Court will decide today the mode of implementing the 27 percent OBC quota in central universities. A bench of Justice R V Raveendran and Justice A K Patnaik will decide on two questions: Whether the cut-off marks for OBC candidates should be 10 per cent less than the marks fixed for the general category candidates. Or should there be 10 per cent relaxation in the minimum eligibility criteria itself.
