DMK leader M K Stalin has been detained in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvarur district. Stalin was on his way to attend a public rally when the police caught up with him. The police detained Stalin because he was opposing and trying to stop the police from arresting the District Secretary of Tiruvarur. District Secretary was wanted by the police on land grabbing charges.
