Railway Bribery: CBI set to question bribe accused

India News: As indications got stronger that former railway minister Pawan Bansal had helped suspended railway board member Mahesh Kumar get him his desired post, the CBI is all set to probe Bansal's role in the cash for posts scam.

But Bansal, who was in Chandigarh on Sunday, claimed he was innocent. "I assure that I am not associated with the case," he told party workers. The CBI is preparing a list of questions to grill Bansal and to examine his role in Kumar's appointment as member (staff) in the railway board.
