India in trouble over closed Medical Shops

India News: The retail and wholesale chemists across the state will go on a daylong strike on Friday as per the directions of All-India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD). The wholesale market of medicines in Lucknow will remain closed for two days as Thursday being the weekly off. There are 1.20 lakh retailers and wholesellers of medicines in Uttar Pradesh and 7.5 lakh chemists across the country. In Lucknow, there are 3,000 retailers and 1,600 wholesellers.
