Probe ordered into drug trial of poor women in Andhra

Women in backward areas of Andhra Pradesh are being turned into guinea pigs for clinical tests, reportedly conducted without proper permission by pharmaceutical companies. Seven women have been hospitalised following effects of the trials conducted. The state government has ordered a probe into the matter.
