India News: The BJP on Saturday slammed the government for not doing enough to ensure the safety of the Indian prisoner and death row convict Sarabjit Singh, inside the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, where he was attacked and beaten badly. Convicted of spying for India, Sarabjit Singh was attacked and seriously injured by fellow inmates on Friday in an incident that could inflame the uneasy relations between the two nations. BJP leaders including Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi said that the Indian government is failing to present a strong case in front of the international community.
