The lathicharge on the rally of contract schoolteachers at R-Block and in Patna junction area on Tuesday has snowballed into a major controversy, with the opposition stalling the budget session of the state legislature on Wednesday. The opposition has also decided to support the call for Bihar bandh on Thursday given by the agitating teachers.
