Why Govt. has closed its Eyes on Khalistan?

Another war hero disgusted at the government looking the other way at the upsurge of the Khalistani sentiment in Punjab. General K S Brar telling us that both the Akali Dal Government and the Centre are playing a dangerous game by not reining in the SGPC.
But the big questions are:
What do you think would be the consequences if authority keeps on turning the blind eye to the situation?
Don't you think that not only the Centre but Congress should also take a tough stand against SGPC?
