Delhi to Host Hockey India League

The much touted Hockey India League starts from today at New Delhi's famous Dhyan Chand stadium.
The franchise-based, five-team tournament a brainchild of Hockey India and a cousin of cricket's Indian Premier League, will renew hope of a new dawn in Indian hockey after missing the Olympics bus to Beijing in 2008 and finishing rock bottom in London earlier this year.
With 120 players from India and around the world set to put their best foot forward in the event that spans around 28 days and 34 matches its surely going to be an exciting event to watch out for the sports enthusiasts.
