Corruption is "The Most Important" topic in India, It has affected the GDP, that has resulted the economic growth of the country. India is ranked as on 96th number in the top 100 corrupted countries list of the world.

Indian governance is not corrupted, it's the Indian politicians and government employees who are corrupted. It would be very hard to root out corruption from India, but it's not an impossible task.
