Hawker dies during Raid, ACP in the Jetty

A hawker named Madan Jaiswal, 46, died of heart attack today when Assistant Commissioner of Police Vasant Dhoble came patrolling in Vakola. Jaiswal was rushed to V N Desai Hospital where he succumbed to heart attack.
A large number of hawkers gathered outside the hospital and shouted slogans against the police The hawkers demanded that a case be launched against ACP Dhoble for this death.
Dhoble had been conducting frequent raids to nab illegal hawkers. Earlier, when he was in charge of Social Security wing, he created a terror by conducting raids on bars to stamp out illegal flesh trade.
