One year later, the prime minister sounded a totally opposite message with a tougher spin on retail FDI totally reversing what Pranab Mukherjee said in Parliament. The Opposition is asking what happened in the 1 year between these two statements that forced the UPA government decide to back retail FDI. And whether Walmart's lobbying had anything to do with it.
