Former Jammu & Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti lauded Pakistan PM Imran Khan for releasing captured IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and said that he acted like a statesman. She also expressed hope that the Indian leadership will also reciprocate this peace gesture. Briefing the joint session of the parliament PM Khan announced that Varthaman will be released tomorrow as a peace gesture.

जम्मू-कश्मीर की पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और पीडीपी अध्यक्ष महबूबा मुफ्ती ने मंगलवार को पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान की वकालत करते हुए उन्हें एक और मौका दिए जाने की बात कही है. उन्होंने कहा कि इमरान खान ने हाल ही में पाकिस्तान की कमान संभाली है लिहाजा उन्हें एक और मौका दिया जाना चाहिए. महबूबा ने कहा कि पाक पीएम की कथनी और करनी में फर्क दिखता है.
