Skincare Myths, Tips and Tricks Does chocolate really
cause acne? How much water should we drink a day for clear skin? Science finally has
the answers! Skin, our largest organ, is extremely susceptible to environmental and
biological factors. It is a myth that chocolate causes acne, our hormonal imbalances and grease glands cause these pesky pustules. An increase of sugar intake can also cause blotches. Do we really need 2 liters of water a day? Science says no. There is no fixed amount of water needed per day for optimal skin health. Limiting direct sun exposure appears to be a
good idea, though. Too much exposure to UVB rays can increase risk of cancer. So don't sweat it!
