R. Kelly Posts Bail, Then Goes
to McDonald's and Cigar Lounge Kelly spent three days in jail after
turning himself in for being charged
with 10 counts of sexual abuse. According to the 'Chicago Tribune,' a 47-year-old woman
from the Chicago suburbs, who claims to be "a friend"
of Kelly's, posted the $100,000 bond. After leaving the premises, Kelly
was seen at the McDonald's in the
River North neighborhood of Chicago. According to 'Spin,' a 2002 lawsuit that was
settled out of court alleged that Kelly picked
up a high school girl at that McDonald's in 1998. The lawsuit further alleged that
the girl was impregnated and
forced to have an abortion by Kelly. According to 'Chicago Sun-Times' reporter Nader Issa,
Kelly's second stop of the night was a cigar lounge
in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Alleged victims Jocelyn Savage
and Azriel Clary were reportedly
seen with him at the lounge. Kelly's next court date
is scheduled for March 22.
