Well Mark.. the Labour Party said it would back a second public vote if the British parliament rejects its alternative withdrawal plan later this week - something that is widely expected to happen.
Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, said the move for a new referendum was to prevent what he called a damaging Brexit.
According to a statement released by the party, Corbyn will tell a meeting of fellow MPs on Monday evening, local time, that it will not only put forward an amendment in favor of a public vote, but also back an amendment that would legislate for a delay to the UK's exit date.
The main opposition had previously said it would support a second referendum as a last resort and only if it was confident of securing the votes needed to make it happen.
The statement adds that Corbyn will tell MPs that the party "cannot and will not accept" Prime Minister Theresa May's running down the clock towards no deal.
May, who is in Brussels for negotiations, has insisted the UK can still leave on March 29th as planned.
