No Pak at WorldCup: Virat Kohli leaves it to BCCI; Can India corner ICC on ban?
Over the past few days, the world of cricket has once again come into the spotlight. In the aftermath of the dastardly, Pulwama Terror Attack in which over 40 Indian Jawans lost their life. There's been a call for complete diplomatic, economic and social isolation of Pakistan. On the diplomatic and economic front, the Indian government has taken a number of steps and will continue to crack the whip but it's the social front that continues to be dicey and at the fore front of that debate is a sport which is worshipped in India- cricket. A clear demand has been made- boycott Pakistan in upcoming world cup and that demand has created a divided opinion. There are those who believe sports must be kept away from politics. While there are others who claim that it's now high time. Pakistan must suffer on all fronts possible, and if that includes cricket, so be it.
