Today I will teach you how to prepare a homemade tomato sauce, if you take a look at any cookbook you will see that the tomato sauce has, apart from tomatoes obviously, onions, carrots, leeks, garlic and a lot of other ingredients, not to mention it takes a long time to be cooked.

This tomato sauce I am going to teach you is much quicker to make, although in fact it is a velouté sauce made with canned tomato and its broth.

I can assure you that it tastes a lot like tomato because 99% of the recipe is tomato, and as it can be prepared in a moment, it will get you out of trouble on more than one occasion.

To prepare this homemade tomato sauce, you will need:

-400 gr. (14,11 oz.) of canned sliced tomato

-1 teaspoon of salt

-1 teaspoon of sugar

-1 teaspoon of flour

-1 teaspoon of olive oil

To prepare this homemade tomato sauce, you must follow the following steps:

-Dry the canned tomato and keep the juice aside.

-Fry the canned tomato in a saucepan.

- Add salt, sugar and the tomato juice and let reduce a little.

-Crush and strain.

-Add the teaspoon of oil in other saucepan, and when hot, the flour.

-Cook the flour.

-Add the crushed tomato.

-Boil until it has the desired thickness.
