A Michigan powerlifter was hailed as a saint a week ago after he helped a man who was stuck underneath a 2-ton SUV.

Ryan Belcher, 29, was toward the finish of his workday Thursday when he heard a noisy accident outside. He saw a Jeep Cherokee flipped topsy turvy, and he surged outside toward the destruction.

When he arrived, he found a man caught underneath the vehicle getting out for help. Belcher, who is 350 pounds with the capacity to squat 950 pounds and deadlift another 800 pounds, saw he could inspire some influence on the vehicle to attempt to move it off the man whose lower body was still inside the vehicle and his chest area crushed facing a speed limit sign.

The man Belcher spared and another lady endured genuine wounds in the accident. No fatalities were accounted for. Belcher said he met with the man and his family and was applauded for his gallant activities.
