Jaydev Unadkat demands face masks for bowlers after Ashok Dinda incident | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Ashok Dinda was hit on his forehead as he tried to take a return catch during a T20 game. The ball was smashed hard straight at Dinda by batsman Birender Vivek Singh. The 34-year-old bowler tried to catch the ball but it slipped from his hand and hit his forehead. Dinda laid on the ground after the severe hit and needed immediate medical help, Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat, on Twitter, suggested the idea of introducing face masks for the bowlers in the game so that such incidents can be evaded.

मुश्ताक अली चैम्पियनशिप के लिए बंगाल की टीम कोलकाता के ईडन गार्ड्न्स पर अभ्यास मैच खेल रही थी. इसी दौरान टीम इंडिया के लिए खेल चुके बंगाल के तेज गेंदबाज अशोक डिंडा ने एक गेंद फेंकी, जिस पर बल्लेबाज ने झन्नाटेदार शॉट लगाया और वो शॉट सीधा डिंडा के सिर पर लगा. गेंद सिर पर लगते ही डिंडा चित्त होकर गिर पड़े.बहरहाल, इस घटना में डिंडा तो बाल-बाल बच गए लेकिन बाकी भारतीय गेंदबाज सहम गए हैं. जयदेव उनादकट ने इस घटना के बाद गेंदबाजों के लिए फेस मास्क की वकालत की है.
