Director Guillermo Del Toro, Richard Jenkins, Ron Perlman, David Hewlett, J. The film charts the unlikely romance between a mute laboratory cleaner at a secret government facility and an amphibious creature being held there. The film already won the top prize of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and showcases typically dazzling creature effects work from master storyteller Guillermo Del Toro.
